Cloud 23 Wedding Photography

Last year we had the pleasure of covering the intimate wedding of Laura and Davor at the stunning Cloud 23 Bar in the Hilton on Deansgate. In true post COVID fashion this was a small wedding of close family and friends only requiring us for a couple of hours.

We arrived just before the guests began to arrive as people began to take their seats for the brides arrival.

The ceremony was conducted by Laura’s best friend Lorraine which made the whole occassion very relaxed. We stayed to grab a few formal shots and portraits of the happy couple overlooking Manchester before leaving them to enjoy the rest of the evening with their nearest and dearest.

Wedding advice

COVID hadn’t been kind to this wedding as it had to be postponed a year which meant that the planning wasn’t a happy experience for Laura and Davor. Laura did give the following advise to any prospective bride and groom;

‘Give yourself plenty of time and just do little bits a long the way so you're not overwhelmed nearer the time’

They also had some lovely things to say about us too which is always nice..!! ;

‘We found you guys on a website which I can't remember the name of! Where you input your details and what you are looking for then you are contacted by people who are interested in taking the job.

We really liked the look of your work and once we had met Andy over Zoom we felt really comfortable and confident that he was the right person for the job.

We were right - on the day Andy made us feel so at ease and comfortable. The pictures we have got are absolutely amazing and really capture the day so well. There are some totally stunning shots in amongst them and we are going to love looking through them all for years to come!’
