Simply Fields Wedding & Events Photography

We had heard of Simply Fields but had not had the opportunity to shoot here until the gorgeous wedding of Charlotte and Paul. Simply Fields is a stunning wedding and events venue based just outside of Burnley, nestled in the beautiful countryside of Hurstwood. The views from the venue are amazing and make a fantastic backdrop.

Wedding Ceremony

We met up with Charlotte in the morning at her home where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was really excited and looking forward to the day. After the big reveal and dads first look we made our way into the village and to the church for the ceremony.

The ceremony conducted by Reverend Chris Casey was light hearted and fun which suited Charlotte and Paul’s personalities perfectly. The church was full of their family and friends making a fantastic atmosphere throughout.

We hadn’t counted on a local fate being on just outside the gates of the church but this didn’t stop us grabbing a group shot and some documentary images outside. In hindsight it would have been great to get Charlotte on one of the merry-go-rounds..!! :-)

Simply Fields Wedding

We asked Charlotte and Paul what advise they would give to any couple starting out on the planning journey and they said;

Don’t get carried away. Stand your ground and do things ‘your’ way. Invite those who you want, not who others want. Keep a log of running costs. Be organised.

Save some cake to take home! Don’t drink too much alcohol - you want to remember the day.

And most importantly, Enjoy every moment..!!
